LayBot is a market making tool that allows users to configure various trading strategies based on their preferences. The bot configuration interface provides options to enable or disable specific strategies and manage their trading pairs as shown below.
Here’s an overview of the functionalities:
Add Token:
Function: Select and manage trading pairs for market-making.
Base Pair: Fixed asset that remains unchanged once configured (e.g., ABC).
Quote Pair: Flexible asset that can be changed (e.g., USDT, ETH).
Users can select a fixed base pair and dynamically change the quote pair to suit their trading strategies.
Testing Mode:
Function: Allows users to test strategies in a simulated environment without real financial risk, ensuring strategies perform as expected before live deployment.
Status: Enable/Disable.
Volume Strategy:
Function: Uses algorithmic methods to contribute actively to trading volumes, maintaining market liquidity.
Status: Enable/Disable
Randomness:
Function: It allows to adjust actions based on random factors which can be beneficial in capturing trading opportunities and responding dynamically to market changes.
Status: Enable/Disable.
Orderbook Strategy:
Function: Keeps the market active by contributing to a dynamic order book, ensuring continuous trading activity.
Status: Enable/Disable.
Optimal Inventory:
Function: Manages the bot’s inventory to maintain an optimal balance, mitigating risks associated with holding too much or too little of an asset.
Status: Enable/Disable
Price Strategy:
Function: Engages in directional trading, being aggressive in buying or selling based on market outlook and price predictions.
Status: Enable/Disable.
LayBot is designed to provide flexibility and control over market making activities. Users can select a fixed base pair and dynamically change the quote pair to suit their trading strategies. By enabling or disabling various strategies such as (volume, orderbook, price, testing, randomness, optimal inventory), users will be able to tailor LayBot to adapt to different market conditions and trading objectives.
